Arnan Heyden is a new author, though hardly a new writer, originally from Northern California. Arnan's parents homeschooled him until college, and encouraged his love for writing. His interests include fencing, writing, and classical music. He attended Pensacola Christian College, where he met his sweetheart, and was married in 2008. He and his wife currently teach at Lighthouse Children's Home in central Mississippi, trying to help young girls discover the love of Christ, and turn their lives over to Him.

Great character development, unique and exciting story... I'm always skeptical of this type of book, being a huge Lord of the Rings fan (and feeling like nothing can ever measure up to it), but I LOVED this book! Held my attention all the way through. Worth every penny. :)Product details

This book kept my interest the whole way through. Amazing descriptions whether of actions or creatures or people. Plot is engaging and keeps developing even through the final scenes.
Enjoyed reading this novel with great interest.
Fascinating, individual story lines culminating in ultimate
ending, giving it a flavor similar to Lord of the Rings.
Also, names for the individual are very unique.
This is one of the best epic fantasies ever. Throughout the author's faith is evident and it shines through the characters. I hope there is a sequel!
